When we survey your property to do an energy audit, we look at all aspects of your home's or building's energy use and consumption cycle. With the help of a team of engineers, architects, and HVAC specialists, we show you how to transform your building or home utilizing the most current technology. Then we will visit your home or building to complete the e3 survey which goes beyond the simplistic leak or blower test so many companies are calling an energy audit. Our energy survey is a more complete and holistic approach for all aspects of heat gain and loss that can result in lower energy efficiencies.

After we've completed our survey we will deliver our energy efficiency report and provide your green solutions. Some of these solutions may be as simple as installing better insulation, paying attention to air leakages in attics, windows and doors, and/or changing your light bulbs from incandescent and halogen to CFLs or LEDs.

There are federal and state government incentives in place that allow you to recoup your initial investment within approximately 3-5 years. As a result of this transformation, your home or building becomes an energy production facility, reduces your carbon footprint and helps create a greener world for our children.

In fact many of the solar system designs are very similar to the ones we utilized in the early 80's when our first rooftop flat-plate collectors were put in service. What has changed over the years is the efficiency of the solar collectors and the monitoring of the systems. Other ways to increase energy efficiencies involves better lighting, insulation, and air mass circulation.
